Sometimes
it is just the touch of a gesture
or a smell
or a glimpse of music
which brings us back
to our childlike heart –
realising that only that will lead us safely,
when it is stormy around us in the world.
While listening to the fragile sounds of this world,
we start breathing again and
our heart becomes alive,
reminding us
that the cracks in our shell are not a weakness
but a chance for our inner light to shine through.
